| My husband, 1 year old son, and I met Chris Lavoie at an open house in the beginning stages of our long awaited search for our very first home. He made us feel at ease right from the start and gave us a few pointers and suggestions on how to approach the entire search process. We were first struck by how young he looked, but quickly got over that by how much information he had to share with us. We responded to his no pressure attitude immediately. He appeared genuinely interested in what we had to say and in our lives in general. After our initial chance meeting, Chris took the initiative to make a phone call and see if there was anything further he could do for us. He also followed through with an offer to e-mail us any interesting houses he had come in contact with that he thought would meet our rather vague (at that time) requirements. With Chris' help we ended up preapproved through a mortgage company to which he had referred us. We were able to then narrow our search to probable price ranges, although we felt we could go see any house we asked about. And poor Chris...ask we did! We looked at many a house with Chris as we narrowed our idea of what we wanted and what we needed in a home. He made himself available at all different times and days of the week, and we took full advantage of his flexibility. We always felt our needs came first and he was going out of his way to accomodate our requests! He drove long distances to meet us places and even met us at our home on a couple of occasions to match our son's sleep schedule. When we asked Chris a question that he didn't know the answer to, he told us he would get us that information as soon as possible, and he ALWAYS did so. We truely appreciated the time and dedication that Chris gave to our family. We now concider Chris to be amoung our friends and would certainly use him again in the future. We strongly suggest that if you are looking for personal attention and attention to detail, you seek out Chris Lavoie. Thank-you Chris for helping us fullfil our dream to become home owners.
